We left Concordia and arrived in Branson around 3:15pm, after a grocery stop at Walmart. We got setup and it was time for hamburgers and entertainment at the rec. hall. We had a nice conversation with several couples, took a quick walk around the park, then back to the 5th wheel for some television. We plan to go to Silver Dollar City tomorrow, if the weather holds out.

Spacecraft Mfg. - Concordia, Missouri
We stopped in Concordia on our way to Branson to tour the Spacecraft Manufacturing factory. Spacecraft specializes in custom 5th wheel trailers. We toured one of their completed units and watched the construction of another unit in their factory. The quality and fit-and-finsh was excellent. They build one unit at a time and borrowing the Burger King slogan, you can "Have it your way". We especially liked their front-kitchen plan with some changes, of course. We will definitely consider Spacecraft when it comes time for a new 5th wheel.

Excel Service Center - Smith Center, Kansas
We are at the Excel Factory Service Center in Smith Center, Kansas having some work done on the trailer. Bad News...as I thought, rain water has infiltrated the bedroom slide and the floor is rotted out! They had to pull the entire slide out.

Removed flooring with water damage along the edges.
The carpet in the hall was showing excessive wear and the service center would warrant it, so we chose to have it replaced with tile. We also decided to have the living room carpet removed and replaced with the same tile (our cost).
On Friday, we got a pleasant surprise...John & Terri Prather, who we had met here at the service center last May, walked in the door. We spent Friday evening and all day Saturday updating each other on this past year's travels. They will be camphosting in Custer, South Dakota. Since we are planning to travel through the Dakotas this summer, we will stop at their park when we are in the area.

Bastrop, Texas
We are back in Bastrop visiting with the kids and their families, Chris and Megan have been re-doing their living and dining room with new paint and furniture. Tonya and Eric are in the process of buying their first house. The house has plenty of space and a great backyard for the kids.
