Clinton & Jaxon's Dedication - Bastrop, Texas

This morning we attended Clinton & Jaxon's (our grandsons) dedication at the River Valley Christian Fellowship Church in Bastrop. The pastor, Cody Whitfill, presided over the ceremony. A number of family members were in attendance, including some of the great-grandparents. After the service everyone gathered at the RV Park Recreation Center, for hamburgers and hotdogs. The grandkids had the opportunity to enjoy the swimming pool on a very hot day.

We took the grandkids to a local play center. The play center has several large, inflated slides and bouncers. They also have areas for the kids to play "dress up".

Tonight we watched the grandkids complete their swimming lessons at the Bastrop State Park. We now have a tadpole, polliwog and a duck.

Dyer Family Reunion 2010 - Bastrop, Texas

This past weekend we had our 2nd Semi-Annual Dyer Family Reunion. We rented the Recreation Room at the RV Park for Saturday. It was great "catching up" with my brothers and sisters. We celebrated Mom's ?? birthday on Saturday. The kids had a good time in the pool.

Tonya and Eric hosted the Sunday gathering at their house. Eric grilled burgers and hotdogs and Tonya baked my favorite cookies, Date Pinwheels.

Stormy Weather - Bastrop, Texas

A storm front came through last night with high winds and thunderstorms. One of the large oak trees, behind our rig, was blown over by the winds. I'm glad we moved out from under the trees!

Graduation - Bastrop, Texas

Today we attended our grandson's kindergarten graduation ceremony. Tyler received his diploma along with an Outstanding Student Award and perfect attendance for the last quarter of the year. Nanna and Pappy are very proud of you!
